Anyone got a Illinois dial?
Hi everyone,
I recently bought an Illinois grade 706 And I was just wondering if anyone has a spare dial that they are willing to sell because the current one is pretty beat up (looks worse in real life than in the picture).
Thanking you in advance
Best Regards Francesco

Francesco, That's a Grade 706! Nice watch.
Here's a little summary of the 700's:
700's
Grade numbers in this range are 704, 705, 706, 707, 709, 710 and 770. The common trait of these watches is that they are bridge model lever-set model 8, 9, and 10 movements. The quality increases with the higher numbers of the series ... the 704 is an unadjusted grade ... the 705, 706, and 707 are adjusted grade movements ... and the 709, 710, and 770 are top quality grades.

Personally I think the dial is worth saving. Check out the post here: https://ihc185.infopop.cc/eve/f...113905277#2113905277
Dave Abbe restored the dial which was probably as bad or worse than yours.

Thanks Dave, well then I was far far off with the grade, I have not yet got the hang of grading a watch.
