Peter, I'm no expert but the #10 case is correct, the dial is correct and the hands are correct. That was of course my humble opinion, others may think differently. I think you have a nice example od a 992E there.

Looks good to me also.. Screws look like the have been molested very little.. Can you post pics of your three finger bridges.. I'm a sucker for those

yes looks original. I have one the same but with the boxcar dial 519. Yours looks like a nice example.

Do you feel "Elinvar" protected??

That is a nice looking 992E Peter. It does need the correct second hand, I call it the fat boy/dart.
