Hi George , I have looked through my books on this and cannot find any case mfg by the name of H O & F - did I read it right ?

Kevin, Thanks yes you read correctly, I to have search books and microlisk to no avail. Someone said it was possibly a jewelers mark that case mfg'r. put on when sold. I will take some photos of watch and post.
