Philip A. LongAmerican Civil War Pocket Watches
Could the grand collectors on the eastern side of "The Pond" (Pacific) show me examples of pocket watches that were warn during this conflict? The other era that I am interested in is the Napoleonic War, 1812. Looking to obtain an example for re-enacting display.

David AbbePhilip, eBay has some Verge fuse watches all the time many of which could be related to the Napoleonic period. The category is listed for one of these (and the rest for that matter) at;
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAG...&hash=item48570f9059If you search eBay for a Waltham model 1857, you would soon find one of those which is American Civil war period as well.
