Farwell Osmond & Kirk Co. founded about 1860 in St. Paul, Ramsey County, Minnesota was a large, long time distributor of many things of hardware and office products. I would not be surprised if this was an early attempt to add watches to their large line of office stuff, etc.

Hello Jon:

I have one in my collection it is a Rockford 18 size, 17 jewel, Full Nickel Plate, Model 9, Lever Set Adjusted, Grade 930, Serial No. 507034, Manufactured 1897. Movement and dial marked The Ramsey Watch F.O.K. & Co. 8770 Made, I've attached a picture of the case It came in and will find the dial and movement photos later. Let me know the serial number of your movement please, for my research information
