Michael Fenton16s Case Identification
Hello, wondering if anyone can ID this 16s case from these bad pictures. It has a Waltham 1808 in it now. Appears to be some sort of presidential seal on the back. In any case will find out as soon as it arrives. -Mike

Buster BeckThat one is an Illinois Watch Case Co screw back & bezel case probably in rolled gold plate or what they called "tivoli" which was an alloyed metal.

Michael FentonThanks bb, auction description says rolled plate. Did a little more google work on the engraving it's a copy of the Great Seal of the United States. Used to stamp treaty ratifications, international agreements, appointments of ambassadors and civil officers, and communications from the President to heads of foreign governments. Didn't know that. -Mike
