Elgin - Overland Information Needed
This is a new one on me, and I watch all Elgins!
Have you seen one?

I will need to know what kind of hands go on this model if you know this watch.

The Serial Number is 6692786, 18s, 17 Jewel, Grade 163, Hunter Case, full plate, nickel plate, Model 2, Class 3, Lever set. Adjusted.

Only made for 2 years between 1895-1896

I don't think I have seen this one before, so any information on it would be wonderful.

Hi Sheila. Interesting watch you have there. While looking for information on Elgin Overlands I stumbled upon this site United States Horological Trademark Index

The Overland trademark is mentioned there. I know this has nothing to do with your question, but there is a lot of interesting information there.

Hi Sheila,
I just now saw this Elgin Overland on Ebay. I don't know if watch is correct or not, but thought it would at least give you something to look at.

Regards,

Bob

For $72.00 that was a pretty good deal, it looks legitimate, excepting whatever the watchmakers did while servicing it.

David,
If that was a good deal, then mine was even better! I got mine for $53.56 however, mine has terrible hands you can take a look at it below.

Bob, Thank you for the ebay link, shows me some nice looking hands for this one. (I hope)
