When your search engine looks for Brand names and Size/Jewel counts, etc., you can miss some things like;

I have learned to search in many, many ways, and use them all.
It's the only way to NOT miss things like this.
Of course, I sometimes just do a standard search, but always wonder what I left behind when I do.
Pretty darn nice watch huh?

In the Burlington, Vermont city directories 1890 Nelson A. Bero is listed at 99 Chruch as a watchmaker
In the 1900 census he is living alone, born about 1862 in New York, both his parents were French Canadian & his is listed as a jeweler.
1910 still in Burlington, married to Emma born about 1865 she was born in Vermont & both her parents were French Canadian.
By 1918 Emma is listed as a widow.
