Larry BuchanHello Tom:
Hamilton ledgers indicate that Hamilton 992L Serial No. 783551 was finished August 10, 1910, and sold on October 10, 1910 to (really hard to read initials) but could be AS Hitchcock Co. of Syracuse, New York.

Tom BrownWell it might take some work to figure out who or what B.J. Co. was.
From the information Larry provided I found a Alfred H. Hitchcock that was listed in the 1880 census in Syracuse NY as a jeweler. He was born about 1860 in NY.
