Harry J. Hyaduck Sr.Case Hallmark information
Does anyone know what this symbol means. The case is gold colored and very heavy. Brass? It has three acorns above a horseshoe with the work Standard inside the horseshoe with a 3 leaf clover in the center of the horseshoe.
Thanks,
Harry

Bila Wirriganwalters"Metropolitan Watch Company" Harry, I have seen a lot of "Keystone Watch Company" Dustproof movements in these over the years, gold filled mate.

Harry J. Hyaduck Sr.Thank you Bila. You are correct it has a Keystone Dustproof in it. Gold filled is great and better than brass. Must be a heavy duty case or the Dustproof must weigh a good bit as it is heavy. No brass showing and that is a good thing.
Thanks Mate!

Bila WirriganwaltersYour welcome Harry, they actually are a very nice case and I would say with a Dustproof in it you probably have an original combo.
I agree that they are very heavy, the ones I have had over the years have also been as well. Is the movement nickel or gilt finish and is it an adjusted model?

Harry J. Hyaduck Sr.Beautiful watch Buster! Yes the case looks very similar to mine except mine has Stag on one side. Yours is a lot nicer than mine. Mine needs a COA and mine has a well faded Celluloid dial. Thanks for sharing Buster.
