Shouldn't a Studebaker wear a South-Bend?

This question has perplexed me...

The easiest, most immediate answer is YES! of course.

However the fact this dial would predate the 1902 beginnings of the South-Bend Watch Company by quite some time may be the best explanation. (As a parenthetical note, it is the same family because their family name was "Studenbaker" before it was garbled upon being processed at Ellis Island. Just as my family name was "Riddell" originally.)

Anyhow, I love that dial Desmond, thanks for sharing it with us!
