Jerry KingPrivate Label BWR with Canadian Dial
A recent purchase of mine that came in the last few days....
The BWR movement is an Elgin Grade 240 and is in a swing out case that has been modified with a crystal for viewing the movement....
Mr. George E. Trorey was a prominent Vancouver jeweler and diamond merchant and official watch inspector for the Canadian Pacific Railroad....
Anyone else with information or comments, please feel free to post....
Regards,
Jerry

Jerry KingThanks Ted....The dial is one reason I bought this one plus the fact it's a 240....but no this one does not have the diamond endstone, I have others that do but this one does not....that I can tell, anyway....

Jerry

Larry BuchanNice watch Jerry, I think the other reason you bought this is to make me jealous :-) here's a picture of my George E. Trorey from page 1 of my Canadian Private Label thread it is a Waltham 1892 movement, 17 jewel, Serial No. 9544770. It has a double sunk 24 hour Roman numeral dial marked "Trorey"
