Kevin PestorNice find Sheila, is it a Ebay find or some where else?
Are you going to hang it on your wall?

Sheila GilbertHi Keven,
Thank you, I thought it was nice too, and Yes, it's another ebay find.
I have not really decided where I will put it yet, depends on what it looks like. I hope to frame it, with a copy of the Ad printed next to it.
My Dad, who was a Photo Engraver in his early days, can help me get it to it's best condition, so I have high hopes for this one.
He can also take it to the Washington Post and have some of the (older) men work on it for me too!
I'm really pleased with this one!

Sheila GilbertWOW! after over 6 weeks, I finally got my plate.
It's great! I will post a better picture of it later.
I can't wait to make an Ad myself.

Jeffrey P. Hessgreat thread! I save these too when I find them..
Found one about 15 years ago in a shed in Champaign Illinois... the home of the U of I.
It had a head pic of red grange in an old leather helmut with the words "Champaign, wear Red Grange Roams" I gotta find it..
here are a couple of watch oriented ones I could find of recent "findage".
