Perfectly engineered coin silver swing case
This case is the cat's meow. It houses a simple circa 1897 Waltham 6S Seaside 7J Htg SW-SS model 1890 movement in pristine condition. The miniature wannabe RR dial and case caught my eye.

I bought the watch knowing I needed to find and replace a broken stem... When I opened the case to investigate and harvest the broken parts to match up, I found this really nicely done inner ring for the swing case.

The swing ring is machined as a stand alone mechanism pinned to the outer coin silver case. The fit and finish are beyond reproach. This system totally eliminates the issue most swing cases have where the hinge and hinge pin are drilled right through the case threads. There are no complications for the bezel to navigate when screwing it back on. It also made rebuilding the case really easy being able to completely remove the swing ring.

Nice monogram on the case back. I'm guessing it is a monogram rather than an organization.
