Doll Watch Company
I would appreciate getting any information available on the Doll Watch Company. Also has anyone seen any 12 size watches that Rockford made for them.

Thanks

Hi Bob,
saw your post while searching for Doll information myself. What have you learned in the past few months since your post? I have a 16-size 23Jewel Doll but it has a Rockford Watch Co. dial, and I would guess it SHOULD have a Doll marked dial.....?

Unfortunately I never heard from anyone.I know Doll watches are rare and were made in 16 and 12 size. I am hoping that someone can provide more insights

Bob,
We have the following 16 size, 23J Doll movements recorded in our database,
620,016
620,021
620,038
All are listed as having "Doll" marked Arabic double sunk dials.

Thank you for your help.

In one of Roy Ehrhardts books he lists a 12 size 21j Doll Watch Co ( made by Rockford) watch. It is one of the few 12 size watches for which even a picture does not exist.

I am still hunting.

Hi, thanks for the responses. I just dug out my Doll and it is 620,011. It is a 16-size 23jewel openface. I'd love to find the correct Doll dial for it, if anyone knows where there might be one hiding. :-) Happy Thanksgiving ( a day late) to everyone!

If I remember correctly, Lindell mentioned the W.F. Doll MFG. Co. New York, in another post about these, and I was wondering if any of these watches could be a private label for this company?

I was just looking in Ehrhardt's Trademark book and notice the company again.
