Need Help With Hamilton Dials & Hands

Hi,
I am looking at a 972, 16s dial from a 85xxxx (1912) that the movement is no good.
Will that dial & hands interchange with a 16s, 992 748xxx (1909).

The 992 has a 4 foot dial and I assume the 972 (being a pre 872000 serial#) would have a 4 foot dial as well ?

Hamilton dials with the same number of feet do interchange.

Will the 972 dial 16s interchange with the 992 dial 16s?

Donnie,

You only posted partial numbers but assuming they are numbered below the 872000 area both should be four-foot dials, in which case the answer is yes. Same holds true for the three-foot dials, they will also interchange with each other, that is why we sometimes see a 1946 movement oddly fronting a 1916 dial.
