Hamilton dial question
Can someone tell me what movement Hamilton would used this dial on...Military???? This is a 16 size dial..

Does the dial still glow in the dark?

It doesn't appear there's any radium paint left but it might not be a bad idea to check the dial with a radiation detector.

I'd say the dial could be found on a 950, 952, 992, 996, or possibly a 974.

Thanks to Richard, I now know the dial is a model 582 SS Luminous and according to the 1920 Hamilton Material Catalog has the highest premium for any dial. There is no radium on this dial - perhaps it was not applied, or maybe worn off - - either way it was on a 992E and I asked both Richard and Gary to help me ID it. My sincere appreciation to both Richard and Gary for the diligent effort.
