Swigart Book - American Watch Movements
Hello -

I was debating the thought of putting this book in an IHC Auction, but was under the impression maybe everyone already had an original hard print.. Confused

The BOOK is wonderful source of information, if you have never had the chance to take a peek inside.

Let me know if anyone is interested...

Well, not everyone has a copy. I'd be interested, depending on the price of course.

Bruce,

LoL - my friend...

I am still trying to figure out what I have doubles of... The Swigart book is the holy grail of the Watch part books, imho. Could never sell my only copy - never (w/o I would be directionless)...

Doug -

Was thinking an auction format if there was enough interest! I know you IL boys have deep pockets! Look at Mean Gene and his 16sz IL brothers Eek

Thanks

Those of us in IL do not all have deep pockets, well maybe if your referring to how much lint mine hold Big Grin
I have a electronic version of this book. Best investment I have made this year in information.

You have a mistaken idea about my pockets.

Besides that, I'm a tightwad (I mean thrifty).

Just ask Gene.

Jon,
One of the benefits (for me) of being a member of the IHC185 is the fact I can ask a question and the answer is given to me (and then some) in a very short amount of time. It is well worth my dues. My book is one of the bound versions (plastic binding). It however stops at Bulova.
If you put yours up, I will wait and sell mine at a later date..
