Enamel Repair of dials
Is anyone familar with the use of "EMAIL" pour cadrans FAVORITE-SWISS DIAL ENAMEL Ref. 477 used for "repairing' enamel dials.

I believe that this is a white waxy compound that will fill in the chips or holes in the enamel. It is completely reversible and when done well is not very visible on most white enamel dials. After filling the hole it is sheared flush with the dial surface with a razor blade. It is a cosmetic "repair" only but is preferred by many collectors to more permanent repairs because it does not alter the remaining original dial.
