S.C.C. R engraved case
Anyone have any idea of what these initials would be for, they do not look like the normal personal initials. Nice case but The initials kinda take away from it.

No Idea I know I found a list of several posibilities when I googled it. I just curious if anyone recognized it especially with the little R after it.

It would appear the "R" was put on as an afterthought or at a later date.

As RR's go it could remotely stand for South Carolina Central Railroad.

The possibilities will be endless but I would hazard to guess it was put on at a later time by a RR affectionado or to try and add value to a plain jane watch and associate it with a RR.

To bad it is a very nice 25year case. Oh well better than some I seen where it looks like someone scratched it with a screwdriver.
