Jon HartPeter,
When I see the "red dot" dial, a bunn movement is not the 1st thing that comes to mind. A standard 17j 16sz Illinois seems more correct (not getty).

Bila WirriganwaltersI agree with Jon on this Peter, lower to middle of the road Illinois movement would be more suitable for this.
Cheers

Paul D. TrombleyPeter,
These dials are great for the "Trolly" watches. I associate the larger seconds bit with the 706 3 and 4 position watches.
An hour and seconds hand to match your existing minute hand would be the most correct. My examples have them in both black and purple.
And just a note... that dial, cleaned up with no major flaws goes for more than $50.00

Peter KaszubskiGreat as I got the watch for $40 with good metal case not sure of the movement working order but who cares.

David AbbeRed Dot dials were factory fitted to 16s Illinois movements with less than the specified adjustments for Railroad use. I think these were made in the earlier years when the alternative RR dials still had red numeric 5 minute markets. Later RR had black triangles

Joe StraubI agree with Paul. I have an example of this 'red ball' dial on my Illinois 706 adjusted 4 positions in a Philadelphia 20 year case. Cool dial.
