Buster BeckThey both look like Swiss/European watches to me.
Outside chance the Hudson could be a NY Standard.

David AbbeJohn, the Hudson is a "Real nice" swiss fake. See if the winding wheels rotate at all when you wind the watch. I say that because it appears the crown wheel is outa line wid-di crown winding stem . . . and there is the "other thing" about no "click" to hold the click wheel.
Nice looking to the untrained eye, though it is sad that the New York "Entrepeneurs" talked some Swiss sweatshop into doing all that dumb stuff when in the same work time they could have put out a pretty classy movement.
The second watch is a nice (and more recent) export market Swiss watch, probably fully adjusted, but there was something about higher tariffs for highly adjusted Swiss imports.

Kevin MoodieThe Hudson is a New York standard with the dummy winding gears. It is also seen as La Salle and Remington.
