Steven FordDoor Number 2
I bid $50 on this and won. N. Larsen on the Double sunk dial. Thick crystal, swing out case, and a few hairlines. No movement photo. Not working, is all they said. I figured it could be something good.
What do you guess I got? Here's the auction Photos.

Steven FordGreat guesses, and I would have been happy with any of them, but no. A well worn case and crystal hiding a Model 10 Rockford 2-tone!The dial even cleaned up nicely! I guess I'll keep it a while.

Lorne WasylishenSteven, if you are using the 2012 Fat book, page 366 shows this as a Model 10 but if you go to page 368 it shows the model 10 as a hunting movement and to the left is the Model 9 which is open face. I have the 738825 which is from the same run of 1000. I checked another data base and it shows a Model 9 as well.
Good score, I paid "somewhat" more with GF case and 24hr dial.

Brad RichardsonVery nice Steve! At least you made out okay with this one. Every time I go for Door #2, I get the gag gift. Brad

Steven FordYes, Robert I was thinking Waltham or Hamilton myself. And Lorne, I should have turned one more page, model 10 is Hunting and 9 is open face.
Next time I go for Door #2 I'll put it up even if it is a Gag gift!
Thanks Everyone for the Guesses.
