Theodore J. Brown Sr.Who carrys what watch?
Just recently got a beautiful 18s 17 jewel South Bend 345, so of course I have to carry it! Has a perfect bold double sunk dial, plum hands and a YGF case. These have really cool damaskeening on them.Runs great and right on time.

Steven FordRight now it's an early Hamilton. A 16s 962 serial # 50245 in what seems to be its original case. After cleaning, a new mainspring, poise and polish, it runs well and keeps time within 30 seconds a week. A nice 2 star watch from February 1897, only 350 ever made.

Mark CrossToday a 12s Elgin 345 17j, adjusted to 3 positions, installed in a case I purchased from Phil Sanchez back in 2013 (not sure why it took so long for me to locate an orphan movement!)

Kevin MoodieI'm carrying a Waltham 18s 1892 21j Vanguard in a central watch case co nickle case. I'm actually bought jeans with a large enough watch pocket for these bigguns.

Mark CrossNothing more satisfying than hauling out a big 18s to check the time. My usual regular carry has been a big Hamilton 940.

Dave KeefeHi all
This is my first post here, and I am happy to become part of this great community. I’m looking forward to getting g to know you.
I am usually a wristwatch guy, but have become beguiled by pocket watches, which are now my go-to on the weekends. Here is my c1907 ligne 19 15j Omega. It is a pleasure to wear it on a leather lanyard I designed and made

Leo HorishnyIt depends. I'll go days on end w/o carrying one, mostly because I wear scrubs with my job, so having a heavy pocket watch is just not practical. Up until recently, I regularly wore a Fitbit but I probably more often paid attention to my steps ...walking the dog, or going on a hike, it's fun to pay attention to the step count and note when I go over 10K steps.
The silver watch my kids bought me as a gift some years ago, so it's special. The Studebaker should have a South Bend dial, and I'm in the process of getting it re-diapled. After that, I'm going to look for an appropriate Studebaker watch.
I just got the second fob today. One was from decades ago when my dad worked for Gardner Denver Equipment; when I happened to see another on Etsy last week, I had to snatch it up!

Theodore J. Brown Sr.I just picked up a really nice carry watch, a 16s open face Montgomery- Wards" LeGant". It's probably from the 60's-70's, looks like a RR watch , extra bold Montgomery dial, 17J with Incabloc and a sweep second hand. Has a Swiss wrist watch movement, runs like new and keeping near perfect time!
