Norman Mayberry
My $50.00 Ebay find
Found this on ebay,16 size 17 jewel Waltham, with my initials already engraved on it.Dates to 1908,in a 20 year Star case that looks to be either gold filled or gold plated.Couldn't find the emblem in any of my books.I cleaned the movement, new glass crystal and mainspring and is ticking away.Another "poor mans collectable".

Nice watch Norman & nice engraving of your initials. I have never been that luck to find mine.

I don't anything about the case other than it is made by the Star Watch Case Company which you probably already knew.

The only thing I've ever 'found' (actually my wife and youngest daughter found it in an antique store when we were on a visit to the eldest daughter in Oklahoma City last May) was a brass business card card, and found it on my birthday no less!

I carry it everyday.

Regards! Mark
