I picked this old fellow up a couple of weeks ago.
-serial # 336889
-Grade 68, model 8
-circa 1889, 11 jewels
-Fortune case, ser. # 31776
The case shows ware, apart from the bow no brass shows.
The lift spring is shot though, winds and sets just fine and keeps great time
and will use it as a desk clock.
- Private label "F.H. Nettleton, Collingwood Ont." on Georgian Bay (Lake Huron)

Nice looking watch, I also tend to pick up private labels since they have a way to see where they originated from when first sold.

Thanks Claude, I did a quick search on the jeweler, they went into business
about 1879/80 and I think they are still going. Over the years
they had shops in 3 or 4 locations.
