Tom BrownBrotherhood of Locomotive Fireman & Enginemen Case
I picked up this Hamilton 992 in a yellow gold filled case. The back of the case has the Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen & Enginemen symbol.
The movement looks great & the dial has one little chip missing above the 7.
The seller is trying to get the previous owners name for me, the seller had bought the watch at an estate sell in Littleton Co.

Edward KitnerTom,
Very sharp looking find. I hope you can get the provenance on the watch. That would be really neat!

Tom BrownThanks Ed, I hope I can get it. He thought the guys was with the Canadian National Railway & retired to Littleton Co. I have tried searching for an obit out of Littleton but without a name most obit searches want that.

Theodore J. Brown Sr.Really sharp looking watch Tom!The movement is new enough to be fully marked, but old enough to have a beautiful damaskeen pattern.Almost looks like a watch fob soldered on the back from the picture....Ted..

Tom BrownIt does look like the Brotherhood emblem is soldered on but from long ago. I have been trying to search & see if the case maker made cases for the Brotherhood. The case was made by Fidelity Watch Case Co of New York.
