Hamilton 940 with Canadian dial
Hello all here`s my first post to the forum,
This is my latest addition to my collection of American pocket watches, and from my favourite manufacturer Hamilton.

A 1911 Canadian dial 940 with PW Ellis case.

Hi Jon,

Welcome to the board!

The 940 was the workhorse of the Hamilton 18 size RR watches and great watches they were and are. Very neat Canadian dial and looks like a nice watch.

Welcome,

Hamilton Canadians are my favorite dials, and that one is correct for 1911.

Thanks guys for the welcome, so glad you like my 940.
One of the main attractions of this particular example was the unusual dial, which I had not come across before, plus the rather nice case, which I understand is also Canadian.
Cheers Jon
