Edward KitnerIHC member get together
I made another enjoyable trip to Ticonderoga, NY today to visit my friend and mentor Roger Nolfe.
Most of my trips to see Roger have an alternative purpose, ( to save my buns after I made a mistake working on a watch.) This time it was mostly just to visit with him.
I brought along my Mumford Microset watch timer and put it through it's paces for Roger.
Roger has an ideal set up for his shop, right in the corner of his wife's living room

Seriously, he has a very nice set up and has many of the tools I wish I had. Of course I wouldn't know how to use them any way. That is why I visit Roger. I always leave with many "lessons learned." Thanks again Roger for taking the time to teach a novice some of the tricks of the trade.
Thanks for the lunch also.
A birds eye view of my mentor!

Roger J. NolfeAlways a pleasure Ed! Ed didn't mention in his post that he brought me a beautifully made display case that I will proudly be able to use to show off some of my watches. I'll put up a pic when I have it set up.
Thanks Ed & Jerry. It is a very nice place to work. The light is perfect and I kind of feel like I'm outdoors.
