I have recently won a nice 18s Hamilton 17j 926 (1905?) with the Gold lettering (like a 940)and gold screws, etc. It has a nice D/S with the name L P Hulberg on it. Have not had much success tracing the name (a Jeweller?) - Would any one have a suggestion? Thanks from the Aussie

Could it possibly be L. O. Hulberg? There was a Lewis O. Hulberg in business as a jeweler at the time you watch was made. He had a jewelery store in Northfield Minnesota, he was born about July 1858 in Norway. He came to this country in 1870 & in the 1900 census was listed as a jeweler & watch repairer.
Then about 1909 Lewis' brother August O. Hulberg bought the jewelery portion of the business & Lewis stayed on running the optometry portion.
August also came from Norway in 1870 he was born about 1861.
I wasn't sure of the serial number of the movement, could you please post it to see if more could be found.
