Information Request

Would anyone be able to identify the main differences between a Bunn Illinois and a Bunn Special Illinois 16 size pocket watch? (other than todays price).

best of my recollection ,

the 16s BUNN in 17 and 19 jewel were adjusted to 5 positions.

The 16s BUNN SPECIAL was a 21 jewel and above movement adjusted to 6 positions


Now, some variations of the BUNN will command a premium over many of the 21 BUNN SPECIALS...
Most noteably the sixty hour 19j versions


The 19j marked jeweled barrel also are not plentiful.....

In both versions, some markings make or break a collection...

For any serious Illinois fanatic, the "encyclopedia" volume II is a must have.
