Jim BielefeldtPlease suggest what type of case for a transitional
Hi fellow watch addicts

I recently won an auction for 2 Elgin transitional watch movements. I am just curious, what case would be correct for them? A keywind case, or one that allows a pendant set? Here is a pic of one of the movements. The other is a gilt BW Raymond serial 337323. I really like silveroid and I already have a nice pendant set model.

David AbbeThat movement looks like a "Toggle" lever setting similar to one I have up on eBay right now at;
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISA...ageName=STRK:MESE:ITRemember the case has to be drilled for the locator pin that helps the single case screw hold in the movement. Same as if it was still a KW/KS.

Jim BielefeldtThank you David for all the info. These are defiantly the first Elgin's I have that are anywhere near this old. But I took a chance and ended up with them at a reasonable price. I cant wait to get my hands on them.
