Paul D. TrombleyWhat info you looking for? It is a model 1888, part of a production run of 1000 made in about 1899... I'd say it is one of the nicer and higher end 1888's out there.
The Pocket Watch Data Base bundles these with 400,000 and some odd other 1888's made over time.
The Waltham grey book adds that this run of Riversides were material grade "P"
I'm not sure what the material codes tell us.

Bila WirriganwaltersEugene & Paul, the "P" in the database denotes that the watch is adjusted to positions as far as I know.

Michael D. CarrollThe P stands for positions. It was adjusted for 5 or 6 positions according to the Waltham serial # site. U stood for unadjusted and A stood for adjusted for temp and 3 positions

Jim BielefeldtVery nice example. I hope the case is in great shape because these dont fit in a standard case size.

Paul D. TrombleyNice watch, I was watching a two tone last week... this watch is on my wish list.
Now that I understand the "P" is code for adjusted to positions, I'm even more interested.
