Wesley Clay WilkinsThanks guys! I am always telling my wife "this is the last one" and she looks at me and says " Uh huh"
She knows me well

I have my eye right now set on a really nice Illinois Bunn Special 163A and if the price is right I am gonna snag it. Recently I was looking at a Rockford Wind Indicator that was uncommon but the dial was cracked in 3 places so I passed on it. Wish now I would have bought it. Oh well some come, and some go..... I ditched my coin collection for collecting pocket watches. This hobby is to me, much more fun. And I have a history with Railroad Pocket Watches so that makes it all the better.

Dave TurnerHere's a couple that should be posted in the "Show us your run of the mill" watches. I got to quit looking at stuff for sale!!
But, anyway here they are. A pair of Seikos, 7009 and a quartz 6923.
After a little crystal cement to put the minute marker back in place on the 7009 and a new battery in the 6923, got a decent pair of everyday watches, for $26.

Harry J. Hyaduck Sr.Thank you Roger. Since I already had one with a serial number so close I had an extra incentive.
December 06, 2017, 09:31
Roger StephensThe proximity of the numbers would motivate me also! I have 2 992's one number apart and I am
constantly on the prowl for the missing one to this puzzle.

Harry J. Hyaduck Sr.I have two 937's missing the one number in between and now have the two 2 tone 935's missing the middle number. Looking for the missing number gives us something to do. LOL
