Joel TrenaloneNew to the community/watch repair
Hello all,
I just would like to introduce myself to the community.
I am putting together a full service watch shop, and am currently restoring/repairing watches purchased, and re-selling them on ebay.
I am thoroughly enjoying it, as I have been involved in this type of repair for years, but have never done it seriously.
I will be posting on my website current projects, and following the work on with a pictorial log as the watch is repaired etc.
Time Piece Shoppe www.timepieceshoppe.com (just click on the "watches" tab) I strive to keep my information up to date and accurate, but if anyone notices any inaccuracies, feel free to let me know.
I look forward to interaction with this community, and always learning from others.
Thanks,
Joel Trenalone

Joel TrenaloneThank you all for the hearty welcome! The ability to pull together the resources from all over the world into one place is quite amazing when you think about it. I appreciate, being relatively younger being able to draw from others experience and stories. (although at 43, and two kids ages 16 and 20, I am feeling not so young anymore).
Thanks again, and look forward to interaction,
Joel

Cort MooreSheesh, I'd always wanted to be an architect!
Nice introduction Joel. I'm a repairer in El Cerrito,CA who has been fixing watches for a mere 22 years. My kids are aged 19 and 20 so I guess it's worked out well enough.
Your site looks great but, since you requested feedback on inaccuracies in your first post, I will mention one. In the description of the KW Elgin is mention of a "cracked lower balance wheel". You meant jewel I know. As everyone here will attest, I never make such errors

.
Welcome aboard!
