Bill MandersHamilton 992B
Sometime ago I had asked about this watch, it is a 992B Ser# C291294 with a Hamilton Keystone case # 305857.
When I inquired about this watch a couple of years ago I must have been in my dyslectic mode as the numbers on the movement got screwed up.
Does the movement number match the case number as far as belonging together ?

Mark CrossBill, from what digging I did in the Hamilton research area, the watch is from 1950, and the list for Class A and 11 cases from 1950 started at K315000, so your case (if this is the correct list and reading) would be 1949, I'd have to say 'yes'.
I'm sure if I mis-read things someone will chime in and quickly correct me.

Bill MandersMark,
Yes I read that as best I could also, the watch from 1950. The case a little more difficult to decipher, as it was not a K marked case and I was not sure, where this fit in.
Thanks,
Bill

Mark CrossTrue, but it's interesting the number, even without the 'K', falls in line with the date of your movement.

Bill MandersMark,
You are totally right, upon closer looking again, another dyslexic moment it has a K prefix.
Thanks,
Bill
