Any one know where I can get a click spring for this Getty Movement? Had alot of trouble installing the spring....lost it twice, finaly got it in and the click in place but when I installed the wheel I broke the spring!
Live and learn I guess.

Thanks,

Mike

David,
Thank you for your reply.
I will be sending the Waltham we talked about last week in the morning. If you could send the spring back with the completed watch I would be grateful.
Has anyone else had a problem getting the spring and click back into a Getty style movement?
This is the first Getty that I have tried a COA on. Most of it was pretty straight forward but the spring really gave me fits.
There is a brass insert on the plate that covers the spring. I was not able to remove it easily so I did't force it, but if I could remove it and place the spring after the click was in place it looks like it would be a breeze. I just don't know if it is supposed to come out.
Can any one clue me in on the correct procedure?
Many thanks to all.

Best regards,
Mike

Thanks Peter. You can call me Mike, it's easier to type. Only my mother calls me Michael, or my wife when she's cross at me. Like when I purchase another watch. Lol.
