Holy moly, that case is beautiful. Nice, clean example overall. My family were all lumber jacks and mechanics... so anything handed down from them is pretty rough.

Tim. Thank you, that is much better. This is a Grade 59 from a run of 150 movements in 1903 that were part of 10,965 total of this model 5 movement made in 54 separate production runs from 1901 - 1910.

A significant feature of this grade is the uniquely "hidden" micro-regulator adjust mechanism which was dropped soon after in favor of the less expensive type using an external "gooseneck" spring.

In this condition, I would value the case and movement to be at least $400.00 and would insure them for $600.00 which is what a good auction could raise for them.

I got an empty hunter case that needs a bezel, crystal, stem, bow and crown.
