May I re-interate your sentiments SG, on behalf of us members 'down under' in Australia! HNY!
We might be taking some of your wonderful USA timepieces out of the country; but I rather think of it as just being allowed to appreciate them for a while....
Also as a fairly new member, I would like to say that I have really enjoyed your postings that I have come across - and the responses generated!

Hi Philip,
Welcome!!! It's nice to meet you.

I figure a collector is a collector, and our watches get passed around so much, you never know where they will end up.

You can appreciate them for a while, but.. Wink

I don't like seeing ANY watches too far from me, but it's just that I want to OWN ALL OF THEM, so you can see, that what I think, and want, is quite crazy. Eek Big Grin

I've been up all night, so I better get some sleep. I hope I get to see you again when I get up, but you will be asleep huh? I never remember the times in other places.

Again, have a Happy New Year, and make that the ENTIRE YEAR TOO!

Happy New year Sheila!
Here's a pic of the last sunset over the Golden Gate '07, on it's way to Tokyo.

Tony, David, Cort,
Best wishes for a great year.

That picture is fantastic, thank you.

I bet we all find some GEMS this year.

I'm ready.

SmileThanks for the kind thoughts, Sheila. As to TIME (something we ALL appreciate, esp. trying to get that watch down to the last minute!) have a look at GMT (Greenwichmeantime) will say that I am 16 hours ahead of you on the East Coast : ie you are having tea/dinner/supper? Thursday PM and its 11.00 AM Friday here...Best Wishes...I'm not sure we can all find what we want in 2008 - are there enough Ball/Hamiltons to go around??
