Lou CopasDueber .... what did I stumble upon ??
I found this.. I searched the forum and get the feeling it might be something rare... your thoughts?
I wasn't able to purchase it as it wasn't priced .. I found it in a local gun shop and the young man behind the counter said to check back when the owner gets in..

Mark CrossWell, I can't seen any 'sinks' on the seconds bit from the photo, so without that, I'd say this was a made up dial. It looks too flat to me.
Nice movement with Teske regulator, though.
Just my opinion.

Lorne WasylishenI think you should be pretty happy about the case.

Mark CrossYep, if you can get it at a good price, the case alone is pretty sweet.

Lorne WasylishenWell I first thought it was solid gold but after zooming in on the crown & pendant there appears to be some wear-thru.

Gary E. FosterI have a similar dial, Swiss made, fits New York Standard, size 18.

Andy Schwartz14k special is a gold filled mark of theirs. They had the most confusing case codes IMHO. anchors right, left, this one and many more.

David AbbeThe New York Standard (I think was the first use) dial was soon counterfeited and then re-copied and distributed by multitudinous different sellers. It may have started "leaking" out into the general market via the (cheap) SWISS producer of the NYS originals.
