Ralph HopperWaltham 24 hr dial question...
I would greatly appreciate it if anyone can provide some background on this dial? I have checked all the sources that I can find and so far have not come up with a similar example.
Thanks
Ralph

Ken SnowdenMy guess is that this is a dial of a "Waltham" made by the Swiss company that now owns the name. I am not home right now, but I have one of these "railroad" watches, and I would bet that this would match it. Could you provide a picture of the movement? Thanks, Ken

Ralph HopperThanks Ken, I can get the photo if it helps but it is marked as a 16-A on the movement and it is likely made sometime in the 1950s by the serial number.

David AbbeRalph, I looked at the listing;
http://cgi.ebay.com/SUPERB-Wal...&hash=item1e6356552bThis could be a swiss dial that was tacked onto a Model 1621, "16A" movement.
