New York or Newark?
I think I already know the answer to this one, but I have a watch that has a movement that looks like a New York Watch Co. The interesting thing is that the dial and movement both say "A. Wadsworth Newark, N.J." The Shugart guide shows an "Arthur Wadsworth" as a Newark Watch Co. watch. Can anyone make a connection between this movement and the two companies?

Thanks for any comments or insight....

That is an 1873 production New York Watch Co., Springfield movement. The predecessor to Hampden Model 1 Key Wind Key Set. Confirmed on Pg 425 of the Meggers/Ehrhardt Gold Book.

Incidentally it is a very nice looking specimen.
