Larry LamphierJon, See that screw on the balance cock? Well you have to take that screw out then pick up the cock to get the balance wheel out.
Not with a pair of Pliers!!!!

Larry

Jon HartActually, it was on ebay. And the seller "claimed" their dog somehow got tangled up with the movement...
I dunno, but I had to get it out of those living conditions.

David AbbeEvidently the "dog" ate the regulator arm as well. Could it be the first born is named "Dog"?
BTW to take the wheel off, loosen the two lttle screws on the balance cock that retain te hairspring first so you can release the Hairspring stud as you lift up the balance cock. The remove the 1 larger scre holding on the balance cock and gently lift the cock while gently maneuvering the hairspring stud out of the groove inder the cap held down by the two smeller screws you loosened.
It sounds nuts, but if the metal is not broken, it is worth a try to try and straighten that wheel.
