Daniel ColeElgin Veritas
I was wondering what you could tell me about this Elgin Veritas 18s 23J? Does it have a diamond endstone? Sorry for the pictures. I used a scanner instead of a camera.

Christopher DarwinI've wondered how you tell if the end stones are diamond and the wheels, balance screws, etc. are gold. Is there more to it than just judging by the color?

I can't tell from your photo but if the end stone is diamond it will look like clear or white glass & some times you can see some of the facets.
