Hamilton Part Number Wanted
Does anyone have a part number for a Hamilton Ball 999 cannon pinion?

Yes I believe it is the same part number but the person wanting the part said he bought the Hamilton cannon pinion and it didn't fit his watch. I thought maybe there was another number for the Ball 999.

It is a 16s and the book says it would be a # 425 cannon pinon. The fellow said he got one from Canada and it didn't fit. So, I'm done with it. I just thought there might be another part number for a Ball. There must be different part numbers for the Ball swirl plates and crown, winding, wheels?

I don't know the part number, but I can tell you the Ball-Hamilton was not the same as a Hamilton for quite a while. Ball used their own style hands up until a point in the 1930s and that is probably the problem you are having. Like I said, eventually that changed and my impression is that after some specific point the Hamilton and Ball-Hamilton were then the same.
