David AbbeMovement is 18001 - 17999, running RR+ with no effort at all!

David AbbeSuper nice movement, and there is a "Tmed" mark on the case, possibly for RR use.

Phillip SanchezThat is a beauty Dave. Is that your next auction piece?

Edward KitnerDave,
A very strong looking pocket watch.
I will second Philip's motion. The auction has been a little slow lately.

David AbbeNOTACHANCE! I have been looking for this and got it from a NJ Estate. I want to research it more too. The timing marks look similar to some I have on a "Leaky Valley" watch.

As discussed in other threads the plate layout is similar to the 12 size 7j and 15j Standard Watch Co which was purchased by Keystone Howard.

Robert F. ShaferI was just looking at mine today. Serial #1374073. Don't knoe much about it though. If I see correctly, mint case value $500. Any thoughts on the value of the watch? Bob

David AbbeRight now Bob it would be anybody's guess. The eBay watch selling has gone up to about 150 - 200% where it was a year ago. Mart prices are always high. With all of that I would probably "see" mine at over $600.00, although at this time it is a permanent part of my collection.
