Elgin M.D.Ogden G.W.Ladd Case
My latest find is an Elgin M.D.Ogden in a G.W.Ladd patented "stiffened gold" case.It has quite a bit of damage to the case and was wondering if it is worth repairing. From what I can find out the case is fairly rare.Below is what I found on G.W.Ladd.Opinions are welcome.Regards.Norm

Norman-

I'm not sure what you are wanting to repair on the case as I see no major damage. I would like to point out that the case looks to be a hidden key case. It my be tight, but if you work on trying to loosen the "crown" in the counter clock-wise way I think you will see that it will eventually unscrew to show you a hidden key built into the "crown"

I have to agree with Jared, the case looks fine to me, no repairs needed.
