Waltham Canadian Pacific1892 model
I recently acquired an 18 size Waltham Canadian Pacific Railway 1892 model 17J, at a flea market for practically nothing. Now for some cosmetic restoration. Can anyone inform me as to what would be the correct case for this movement? Some Canadian made case?

William, First let me congratulate your find. I hope you fill in the details with some pictures. The most common Canadian Made cases used on Waltham Canadian watches were The "A.W.C.Co. type. The below markings are what you would expect to see on those type cases.

The St Andrew's Parish marked case (which sadly I had to sell recently) was a very special standard Waltham 21 Jewel Model 92 presented to and used by a Grand Junction RR person. The US-Canadian linking business of GJ was based in St Andrew's Parish near Montreal, Quebec. My model 92 CPR (Which I keep in a display case) is typical of those rare finds like yours that beg for a good 18s Canadian Case.

hi David; that would be "Grand Trunk Railroad" ,correct?,as the Grand Junction railroad was an 8 1/2 mile long short line in Mass., and the case looks to me as though it says "LOL",which is the "Loyal Orange Lodge" Correct?? The Grand Trunk Railway or Railroad became part of the Canadian National Railway.

I stand corrected, also this month is my 70th birthday. While that is no excuse, I got the "Grand" right, Right?

Back to topic-thanks David for your input, I have a better idea what to look for. I have seen Waltham Vanguards with Canadian dials and Canadian cases and will look for one of those combinations.
