Kevin MoodieElgin fancy dials
A few Elgin fancy dials. Not perfect, but gaudy enough for this bottom feeder.

Claude GriffithThe one in the top middle looks like what is on my 243 and most of these type of dials nearly always have some crack type defect. The one on the right lower is a oldie but goodie

Bill MandersKevin,
Those are pretty nice looking dials, and I'm sure a lot of us are in the same boat.

Ken HabeebI can add this fancy-dial Elgin sold in San Francisco. The case is of course not original to the hunting-style private label movement, but it happens to be this fancy case's first use, so I'm good with it. The owner of this watch wore out the original case without cracking the delicate dial!

Ken HabeebHere's the back of the case. My photo might not do it justice. It actually looks new.
