I have the identical watch to yours except for the hands in near mint condition I purchased in 2011 for $190.00. Mine is not 14K gold.

new hands and a nice dial cleaning should put it in shape , the size 12's have a good following, I will let others price it

Even with the distinction of the Secometer a serial number always helps with these. The price guide is vacuous at best on the cost distinction of a two star Secometer and any other equivalent. The equivalent Hamilton is about $250.00 median value and there should be little difference from the Illinois excepting that the Illinois is more rare.

The s/n confirms it is a Grade 407 Secometer. So estimating it as compared to the Hamilton should hold.

Thank you David,
Jon your ball got no appeal to me as a pocket watch IMHO.

I have 3 pocket watches with the secometer feature. The most prized one is a Hamilton 912 in the "Van Buren" case. The other two are Ingraham dollar watches that both still run pretty well.
